Another study was carried out to determine the photo-protective effect of Acetyl Hexapeptide-51 Amide in the presence of a cytotoxic dose of simulated sunlight on human dermal fibroblasts (HDFA). It showed a significant protective effect, increasing the cell viability of HDFA exposed to irradiation by 35.1% versus untreated irradiated cells.
