Palmitoyl sh-Tripeptide-4 Amide

Palmitoyl sh-Tripeptide-4 Amide is a low molecular weight lipo-peptide (316.3 Da) derived from CD99, an anti-inflammatory molecule that is expressed in all human cells. It is also known under the trade name Binterin™.

Palmitoyl sh-Tripeptide-4 Amide suppresses inflammatory processes and can soothe the inflammation areas excellently and quickly. It is a perfect ingredient for post-laser treatment applications like CO2 fractional laser, fractional RF microneedling, or tattoo removal.

In addition, Palmitoyl sh-Tripeptide-4 Amide suppresses inflammatory responses by inhibiting the pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α and IL-1 blocking cytokine-induced receptor (such as TNFR and IL-1R) clustering and NF-kB activation. It suppresses TNF-α-induced adhesions of the leucocytes to endothelial cells.

Palmitoyl sh-Tripeptide-4 Amide soothes irritated skin and relieves discomfort by modulating inflammatory reactions. It prevents skin photoaging by suppressing the UVA-induced breakdown of extracellular matrix proteins in the dermis.

Inhibiting angiogenesis, Palmitoyl sh-Tripeptide-4 Amide reduces skin redness, exposing a healthy, uniform, and radiant appearance. It is a safe, and effective ingredient, and it proved its safety in numerous repeated dose toxicity tests.
