Di-PPG-3 Ceteth-4 Adipate

Di-PPG-3 Ceteth-4 Adipate is a synthetic gentle "detackifying" emollient designed for mildness in leave-on products, especially for sensitive skin or where abrasion is involved in the skin treatment process (i.e., facial scrubs, microdermabrasion). It reduces the tackiness of popular emollients, such as lanolin and petrolatum, to provide a more appealing skin sensation.

Not only is Di-PPG-3 Ceteth-4 Adipate mild by itself, but it can modify irritation potential in natural oils, which are prone to irritation through oxidation. It can mitigate the irritation of three brands of almond oil when added at 3%.

Due to its mildness and skin modification properties, Di-PPG-3 Ceteth-4 Adipate is used in various skin care applications, including face creams, facial scrubs, and shaving products. In addition, it found its unique niche in post-depilatory and waxing products, baby oils, and lotions.
