Vinyl Caprolactam/VP/Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer is a Polyvinylcaprolactam derivative used in alcohol-free styling products as a water-soluble film former and high-performance and exceptional fixative polymer with pseudo-cationic functionality. It is substantive on negatively charged surfaces, such as hair.

Vinyl Caprolactam/VP/Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer is compatible with anionic, nonionic, and cationic surfactants, silicones, and other thickeners. It provides cost efficiency for the final product as it is easy to use for formulators, requiring minimal time and agitation at room temperature to dissolve completely, and does not require neutralization.

Vinyl Caprolactam/VP/Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate is a strong, durable hold polymer used in hair sprays, styling sprays, mousses, and gels/pomades. It provides excellent shine and high-humidity curl retention at low solids levels and extremely low tackiness. It enables the production of alcohol-free, non-aerosol styling products with desirable properties and conditioning benefits.
