Decapeptide-4

Decapeptide-4 is a synthetic peptide known under the trade name CG-IDP2 that mimics the Somatomedin growth factor involved in normal skin growth, healing, and wound repair. Applied topical, it boosts collagen and elastin production improving skin elasticity and firmness.

Supporting the active generation of new skin cells, Decapeptide-4 reduces and prevents fine lines and wrinkles. It boosts both keratinocytes and fibroblast cell proliferation just in 72 hours.

Decapeptide-4 is also used as an anabolic peptide in preparations for injections in fatty tissue. It blocks the production of new triglycerides and restructures subcutaneous adipose tissue.

In hair care applications, Decapeptide-4 activates the division and differentiation of hair papilla stem cells stimulating the growth of strong, healthy hair. It is used in peptide cocktails to restore hair growth.
