Myristoyl Nonapeptide-3

Myristoyl Nonapeptide-3 is a synthetic biomimetic lipo-peptide with retinol-like action, known under the trade name RetinoPeptide™ 189. Mimicking famous anti-aging vitamin A's biological activity boosts collagen type I production, exposing a firmer, smoother, and youthful appearance.

Besides collagen synthesis stimulation, Myristoyl Nonapeptide-3 enhances Hyaluronic acid production and speeds up dermal cell proliferation and turnover. Its anti-aging action is similar to retinoids used in skin care applications, but it has no adverse effects like irritation and sun sensitivity typical to retinol and other retinoids.

Mimicking the effects of retinol, Myristoyl Nonapeptide-3 exposes a smoother, more youthful complexion, improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps renew and regenerate skin. In addition, it improves barrier function and helps retain skin moisture.

Myristoyl Nonapeptide-3 is used in anti-acne creams, cleansering applications, moisturizers, and eye care products. It is suitable for most skin types.
