Oligopeptide-50 is a synthetic multifunctional peptide known under the trade name CG-Glamerin that is included in the list of “Gold Standard” peptides for the treatment of hyperpigmentation of any origin. It helps to lighten age spots and prevents the formation of age-related hyperpigmentation.

Oligopeptide-50 stops the production of the main starters of melanogenesis: tyrosinase and its precursors. It lessens melanin in melanosomes and inhibits its production. In addition, it inhibits the accumulation of melanin in melanosomes.

Besides the skin-lightening effect, Oligopeptide-50 increases collagen production by 81% and hyaluronic acid by 45%, boosting skin hydration, replenishing structural proteins, and exposing a firmer, smoother, and youthful appearance.
