Methacrylic Acid/Sodium Acrylamidomethyl Propane Sulfonate Copolymer

Methacrylic Acid/Sodium Acrylamidomethyl Propane Sulfonate Copolymer is a unique, proprietary, anionic copolymer for applications in hair and skin products. It is a clear to slightly opaque, colorless, odorless viscous liquid.

In skin care products Methacrylic Acid/Sodium Acrylamidomethyl Propane Sulfonate Copolymer reduces tack and wetness, improves spreadability, and increases slipperiness and lather thickness of cleansing products.

Incorporated in hair care products, Methacrylic Acid/Sodium Acrylamidomethyl Propane Sulfonate Copolymer
provides high curl retention in a high humidity environment, contributes a silky, dry hair feel, and removes build-up from styling products.

Thanks to low substantivity to hair,  Methacrylic Acid/Sodium Acrylamidomethyl Propane Sulfonate Copolymer is easy to rinse off. It is compatible with anionic, nonionic, and amphoteric thickening agents and combined with carbomer enables clear formulations. This polymer does not require heat and/or additional processing while formulating – allows for simple and easy manufacturing as well as saves energy and reduces carbon dioxide emissions.
