Steardimonium Hydroxypropyl PEG-7 Dimethicone Phosphate Chloride is a Dimethicone PEG-7 Phosphate derivative with an enhanced performance based on proprietary silicone phosphate technology. It retains the parent material's multi-functional nature.

Steardimonium Hydroxypropyl PEG-7 Dimethicone Phosphate Chloride is a clear to slightly hazy liquid miscible with water and propylene glycol; insoluble in mineral oils and volatile silicones; and dispersible in castor oil and alcohol.

Because Steardimonium Hydroxypropyl PEG-7 Dimethicone Phosphate Chloride is cationic (carries a positive charge), it will have a strong affinity for negatively charged substrates such as hair (significantly damaged hair) and skin. This property, along with the film-forming and emollient nature of the Dimethicone PEG-7 phosphate backbone, should confer superb hair and skin conditioning.

Steardimonium Hydroxypropyl PEG-7 Dimethicone Phosphate Chloride is used in shampoos and conditioners. It also appears in other hair care products, such as styling gels, hair glossing applications, and blow-dry sprays, in a concentration range of 1 – 5%. It is non-irritating in cosmetic concentrations and is not a primary sensitizer.
