Pyridoxine Cyclic Phosphate is a white to light yellow powder, a stable Vitamin B6 derivative for skin and hair care preparations. It exhibits good stability under sunlight and heat, at a pH range of 6.5-8.0, and good compatibility with other vitamins.

Applied topically, Pyridoxine Cyclic Phosphate penetrates into deeper layers of the skin where enzymes hydrolyze it into Pyridoxine an active form of vitamin B6. It is a multifunctional ingredient that allows control of sebum production, pore size, and skin's moisture content.

The 5α-reductase enzyme is responsible for the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which stimulates sebum secretion. Pyridoxine Cyclic Phosphate inhibits 5α-reductase enzyme lessening DHT quantities and reducing sebum production. As a result, it improves oily skin appearance, texture, and facial shine by up to 56%.

Reducing IL-6 and IL-8 pro-inflammatory interleukins production by keratocytes, Pyridoxine Cyclic Phosphate exhibits significant anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, lessening skin redness, UV-induced inflammation, and irritation. In addition, it reduces pores size by up to 55%, enhances skin's moisture retention ability, and considerably improves skin’s general health and appearance.
