TEA-Lauroyl Collagen Amino Acids

TEA-Lauroyl Collagen Amino Acids is a clear to slightly hazy, amber liquid with a mild characteristic odor. It is considered a "foaming protein" with conditioning properties. It is a mild and water-soluble foaming surfactant based on collagen amino acids.

Chemically, TEA-Lauroyl Collagen Amino Acids is a triethanolamine salt of the condensation product of a fatty moiety with collagen amino acids. It can be used as a foaming agent and foam stabilizer in shampoos, foaming conditioners, body washes, skin cleansers, and other such cleansing systems and works well as an auxiliary surfactant with standard anionic and nonionic surfactants.

TEA-Lauroyl Collagen Amino Acids can enhance both foam volume and quality, exhibiting high flash foam to create a rich, copious lather of large, lace-like bubbles. It provides gentle cleansing without causing adverse defatting and, as a result, confers light conditioning, imparting effects that give better combing and a softer after-feel.
