Vegetable Oil (Olus oil) is a nonionic vegetable-derived blend of fatty alcohols and triglycerides that provides excellent stability and is very easy to use. It is a natural body and alternative for paraffines in lotions and creams.

Olus oil can be used to make viscous (thick) or thin emulsions, depending upon the concentration at which it is used. With SE self-emulsifying version (emulsifying vegetable wax) no other emulsification system is needed with the emulsifying wax.

Vegetable oil is solid in pastilles and has a melting point of about 50-54°C. Recommended use levels are 2-25%, usually 3-5% for lotions and 5-10% for creams.
