Laureth-7 is an ethoxylated (average 7 mole) lauryl alcohol, a nonionic surfactant supplied as a 90% active aqueous solution. It is a clear liquid soluble in water.

Laureth-7 provides fragrance and emollient solubilization in surfactant systems such as bath foams and shower gels. It is an oil-in-water emulsifier and co-emulsifier that can be used as a pigment-wetting agent.

In addition, Laureth-7 can be used as a low-foaming cleansing agent. It is used in a wide range of personal care applications and ingredient complexes.
