PEG-6 Propylene Glycol Caprylate/Caprate (Polyoxyethylene 6 Propylene Glycol Esters) is a blend of ethoxylated propylene glycol mono esters of caprylic and capric acids. It is a colorless liquid with a mild odor and is used as an oil-in-water emulsifier, emollient, solubilizer, and dispersant.

Incorporated in cleansing applications, PEG-6 Propylene Glycol Caprylate/Caprate acts as a surfactant with great skin-refatting properties. It is used in lotions, creams, makeup, shower gel, no-wash skin cleansers, and baby products.

In oral care applications, PEG-6 Propylene Glycol Caprylate/Caprate is used as a solubilizer and bioavailability enhancer. In addition, it can also be used as an emulsifier for microemulsions.
