Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate is a diglycerin triester with isostearic acid. It is a clear, odor-free liquid and an excellent inorganic pigment-dispersing emollient that offers a soft, rich, and non-tacky skin feel.
Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate exhibits an excellent W/O emulsification performance and acts as a co-emulsifier in formulations with high salt levels. This ideal combination of properties makes it a perfect ingredient for decorative cosmetics, where it enhances spreading and pigment distribution.
This non-tacky emollient will modify the viscosity of oily systems without feeling sticky. Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate is able to stimulate liquid crystal formation.
