Tridecyl Trimellitate is a highly stable, low-odor, and colorless ester that gives a high shine to hair serums. It is a water-white liquid with a refractive index (at 25oC) 1.483
Fully miscible with Phenyltrimethicones, Tridecyl Trimellitate is a value-adding method of making a high-shine serum without sacrificing properties. It can be emulsified and added to hair conditioners and ethnic hair products.
In addition, Tridecyl Trimellitate is very useful as a shine agent in lipsticks.
