Tridecapeptide-1

Tridecapeptide-1 is a biochemically designed, high-performing 3D folded peptide with a spherical structure. It rapidly penetrates and binds the acetylcholine receptors responsible for neuromuscular signal transfer, leaving a Botox-like effect. It is also known under the trade names BGT™ TDP-1 and TP TDT 01.

After topical application, Tridecapeptide-1 quickly reduces wrinkles and fine lines, relaxing facial muscles. The formation of facial wrinkles is due to years of repeated facial expressions that contract and tighten the muscles’ memory. The most prominent locations are at the forehead and the eye crow’s feet.

Tridecapeptide-1 effectively prevents acetylcholine binding to its receptor site from blocking the initiation of muscle contractions. This keeps the muscle relaxed further to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with both rapid and long-term results.

Clinical tests with preparation containing Tridecapeptide-1 revealed that there are visually reduced fine lines and wrinkles at the crow’s feet eye area after 15 minutes of application and with no rebound after 4 hours. The Botox-like effect is achieved without injections or specialized procedures.
