Di-PPG-3 Myristyl Ether Adipate is a transparent liquid polymer and a low-viscosity emollient with an ESSF (Emollient Skin Spreading Factor) value of 3.8. It promotes the targeted delivery of actives and pigments.

Di-PPG-3 Myristyl Ether Adipate is an excellent dispersant/solvent for sunscreens and decorative cosmetics, thanks to its synergistic effects with other esters in wetting pigments. It can partially or fully replace castor oil in lipsticks.

Since Di-PPG-3 Myristyl Ether Adipate is compatible with castor oil, there are no limitations on its use levels. It doesn’t turn rancid like castor oil.

Thanks to the wetting efficiency of Di-PPG-3 Myristyl Ether Adipate, shade-matching colors can be done easily and faster without worrying about batch-to-batch shade variability. The di-ester’s low spontaneous skin spreading behavior means there’s little or no chance of lip color “creeping” into the creases around the mouth.
