It binds to the lifted cuticles, cementing them together, and smoothes the hair fiber.

Hydrogenated Castor Oil/Sebacic Acid Copolymer is highly substantive and will keep the cuticles sealed even through multiple shampoo washes. It has a high refractive index, so it will also add shine.

Because of its substantivity and molecular weight, Hydrogenated Castor Oil/Sebacic Acid Copolymer is also suitable for skin care. It is long-lasting, making it ideal for products designed to remain on the skin for extended periods.
