Oleth-20 is an ethoxylated (with 20 moles of ethylene oxide) oleyl alcohol, a white, waxy solid without odor. Specified as a "fragrance grade" due to its significantly low odor, it is used as an oil-in-water emulsifier and solubilizer, especially for fragranced products.
Oleth-20 is an excellent nonionic emulsifier and is used in a wide range of product types and applications for solubilizing fragrances.
Derived from vegetable-derived alcohol, Oleth-20 is an easy-to-use and ideal ingredient for leave-on skin care products. Depending on application, use levels range from 0.5% to 10.0%.
