Polyquaternium-10 is a cationic, water-soluble conditioning polymer that is widely used in a variety of hair and skin care products. It is highly cationic over the entire useful pH range and substantive to both hair and skin. Polyquaternium-10 is highly compatible with a wide variety of amphoteric and anionic surfactants.
Polyquaternium-10 provides unmatched detangling, wet combing, and body-to-hair. In cationically stabilized lotions and creams, it can be used as a secondary emulsifier.
