Soybean oil is derived from the seeds of Glycine Soja, a clear, liquid vegetable oil with superior stability. Glycine Soja oil is an emollient oil similar to all nonfragrant plant oils and a natural source of tocopherols and sterols.

Natural tocopherols in Glycine Soja Oil (4500 ppm) are potent antioxidants that protect sensitive skin cells against environmental stress conditions by their free radical scavenging mechanism. Free radicals are generally recognized as the main skin enemy and a significant factor in skin aging. Topical, natural tocopherols are shown to ameliorate the early phase of an oxidative stress response and are known for their photoprotecting, repairing, membrane-stabilizing, and anti-inflammatory properties.
