Diethylhexyl Maleate is a light lipophilic ester, a clear, almost colorless liquid, that exhibits excellent properties for skin and hair care applications. This unique diester provides exceptional moisturization to skin and hair and imparts an excellent shine. Successfully passed the toxicology patch test for primary dermal irritation by 48 hours, Diethylhexyl Maleate did not indicate the potential for dermal irritation.

In skin care, Diethylhexyl Maleate found application in a wide range of skincare products including moisturizers, cleansers, and make-up formulations. Incorporated in hair care preparations Diethylhexyl Maleate leaves a light emollient feel and high gloss, making it a perfect addition to both rinse-out and leave-in hair products like shampoos, conditioners, and styling aids.
