Glycereth-7 Benzoate is a colorless to slightly yellow viscous liquid. It is dispersible with water and castor oil and exhibits self-emulsifying properties, enabling dense formulations that tend to deposit on the skin.

Glycereth-7 Benzoate is also a very lubricious and emollient ester. It is soluble in ethyl alcohol and propylene glycol. It can also act as a resin plasticizer and is helpful in detackifying clear stick deodorants.

Incorporated in shampoo, Glycereth-7 Benzoate contributes an extremely luxurious, emollient feel. It can be used in bath products, antiperspirants, deodorant sticks, conditioners, after-shave lotions, creams, splash-on products, and nail care preparations.

Glycereth-7 Benzoate is a safe ingredient for skin and hair care applications. It is non-irritating to skin and eyes, has very low oral toxicity (non-toxic), and is non-comedogenic.
