Isopropyl Palmitate is an ester of Isopropyl alcohol and palmitic acid, a lightweight emollient that helps to moisturize skin. It is a safe, non-toxic, and non-sensitizing ingredient although is derived from palm kernel or coconut oils.
Isopropyl Palmitate is comedogenic in nature. It is a clear low viscosity liquid with low odor. The typical use level is 1%-5%.
