Pentaerythrityl Tetracaprylate/Tetracaprate is a cushion emollient ester with good spreading and pigment-wetting properties. It is also known under the trade name Crodamol™ PTC.

Thanks to its high molecular weight, Pentaerythrityl Tetracaprylate/Tetracaprate remains on the skin surface, providing a pronounced "cushiony," soft, and lubricious feel. It forms a lipid film that is highly water-repellent and acts as a protective barrier on the skin to prevent moisture loss.

Pentaerythrityl Tetracaprylate/Tetracaprate is used in high solid make-up, lipsticks, barrier creams, sunscreens, and bath oils.
