Polyglyceryl-2 Sesquiisostearate is a light yellowish liquid used as a versatile emulsifier in water-in-oil emulsions. With this emulsifier formulations achieve an excellent spreading behavior and an appealing skin feeling with a shiny appearance.
Using this emulsifier, formulations can be made with synthetic oils as well as with fatty acid esters or triglycerides as oil components. Due to its structure, which contains no ethylene oxide units, Polyglyceryl-2 Sesquiisostearate has been approved by EcoCert. It is highly chemically stable and can be used for cold-process emulsification.
