Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate is a derivative obtained from the condensation of Azelaic acid and Glycine, a multifunctional skincare ingredient with the benefits of its ancestors and without weak points such as instability in formulations, pure solubility, and sensory profile. It is a clear colorless and odorless liquid, highly soluble, self-preserving, and stable.

Thanks to its high cosmetic efficacy, Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate is used in products for sebum regulation, skin lightening, and hydration. It is a useful ingredient in anti-acne preparations, exfoliating and skin-brightening skincare products, and moisturizers with an NMF-like action (glycine is one of the natural moisturizing factors).

Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate also exhibits an anti-inflammatory effect and enhances skin elasticity. It improves the sensory profile of the formulation and recovers skin equilibrium, exposing a radiant, bright, and healthy appearance.

Its stability over time has been confirmed in several formulations such as cleansers, gels, gel emulsions, and oil-in-water emulsions. Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate is a safe ingredient for personal care applications. It passed safety tests and it's not irritant to the skin and eyes, hypoallergenic (not sensitizing), has oral toxicity LD50 ≥ 2000 mg/Kg, and is not phototoxic.
