Propylene Glycol Diethylhexanoate is a branched diester of propylene glycol, a clear liquid with a neutral odor. Fully refined and deodorized, it has exceptional stability and is miscible with most cosmetic solvents, including ethanol.

Due to low viscosity, excellent lubricity, and relative non-oily character, Propylene Glycol Diethylhexanoate is used as an emollient that imparts a rich, full-bodied feel to the skin and is suitable for many cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.

In addition, Propylene Glycol Diethylhexanoate can act as a solubilizer and is used in lotions, creams, and decorative cosmetics. It is safe, non-irritating to skin and eyes, and non-sensitizing.
