Sucrose Polysoyate is a sucrose-derived ester with the traditional properties of other emollients and other outstanding properties. It exhibits proven suppleness, and wash and wear resistance.

Thanks to its outstanding film-forming property,  Sucrose Polysoyate positively impacts barrier function and provides adequate moisturization.

A panel study was conducted using a Gas Bearing Electrodynamometer (GBE) to measure any changes in skin suppleness. The results of that study compare a simple oil-in-water emulsion containing a 2% blend of Sucrose Polybehenate and Sucrose Polysoyate at a 1:2.5 ratio against a leading commercial cleansing wipe-off milk. The ratio appears to optimize the beneficial effects of those emollients in formulations.
