Oligopeptide-104 is a synthetic 11 amino acid-long peptide with sequence Ac-Gln-Gln-Arg-Phe-Glu-Trp-Glu-Phe-Glu-Gln-Gln-NH2 that self-assembles into a 3D matrix with multiple calcium-binding sites as a nucleation point for Hydroxyapatite, triggering the natural tooth regenerative, remineralization and repair mechanisms. It is used in high-end teeth care applications and is known under the trade name Curolox® and scientific - Peptide P11-4.

Hydroxyapatite is the major component of the enamels' and dentins' inorganic fraction. Incorporated in toothpaste and teeth care treatments, Oligopeptide-104 boosts remineralization processes, effectively fighting against caries, lesions, and enamel defects. It also helps to form and grow dentin, a body material of teeth.

Recovering and protecting tooth surface, Oligopeptide-104 treats unpleasant sensations and hypersensitivity to temperature changes and sugar. It prevents tooth decay and dentin demineralization.
