The Orange (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis) tree is an evergreen tree originally native to the Far East, particularly China and India. It is said that an orange is given as a symbol of luck to a young Chinese husband when he calls on his bride’s parents.

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis is probable that the legendary golden ‘apples’ in the Garden of the Hesperides were, in fact, oranges. Oranges are known to contain vitamin C and B complex, bioflavonoids, potassium, zinc, and phosphorus, as well as natural sugars.

The flower is considered anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal and has often been used in poultices and skin care products.

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Flower Extract is a light to medium amber liquid with a characteristic odor. It is a non-irritating ingredient with antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities and is used in bath and skin care products and sachets.
