The Banana (Musa Sapientum) plant looks like a tree, but it is actually a very large barkless plant. An old Hawaiian proverb likens man to the banana: “Man is like a banana the day it bears fruit” - like the banana which dies after it bears its one bunch of bananas, man dies after his work is done.

Bananas are full of nutrition, especially potassium. An average banana contains 440 mg of potassium and only 1 mg of sodium.

Unripe fruits have green skin that turns bright yellow when ripe, and the inner pulp is creamy-white. The pulp used in face masks leaves the skin soft and smooth and removes impurities. The typical banana is a potent astringent with hemostatic properties.

Musa Sapientum Fruit Extract is a yellowish-brown liquid with a characteristic odor. It is used in skin cleansers, creams, masques, gels, and skin treatment products, as well as shampoos, conditioners, and bath care products.
