Watercress (Nasturtium Officinale) was used to treat eye disorders, excess weight, bleeding gums, arthritis, rheumatism, atherosclerosis, kidney and liver disorders, and internal swelling. It is also considered an excellent wash for blemishes and freckles.

Nasturtium Officinale Extract is derived from a plant's leaves, flowers, and seeds. It is a light to medium yellow liquid with a characteristic odor. It is soluble in any proportion of water and has a pH range of 4.0 - 6.5.

Thanks to its high vitamin A content, Nasturtium Officinale Extract is used in skin creams, lotions, toners, moisturizers, and treatment products. The recommended use level in skin and hair care products is 5 - 10%.
