Glycereth-26 is a glycerine ether with approximately 26 moles of ethylene oxide. It is a clear-hazy water-soluble liquid with a pH range of 6.0 - 7.0 in a 5% aqueous solution.
Glycereth-26 is an emulsifier and humectant with an HLB value of 18.4 used in personal care applications. It provides emollience, lubrication, and sheen in skin and hair care formulations. It is non-greasy and prevents dryness.
