Poloxamer 185 is a block copolymer of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol. It is in the form of a water-soluble opaque paste at room temperature and is known under the trade name Pluracare® P 65.
Poloxamer 185 is an emulsifier and dispersing agent in cosmetic products. Its HLB is 12 to 18.
