PPG-26 Oleate is a propoxylated (26 mole) vegetable-based oleic acid. It is a clear, oily liquid, soluble in oils and insoluble in water.

PPG-26 Oleate is an excellent ingredient for cosmetic applications requiring vegetable-based products. It is an oil-soluble vehicle that is capable of producing a variety of non-greasy and non-staining skin and hair care products.

Exhibiting exceptional spreadability, PPG-26 Oleatehas disperses additives such as hormones, vitamins, moisturizers, lanolin derivatives, repellants, sunscreens, antiseptics, and essential oils. It is compatible with other oil-soluble nonionics, cationics, anionics or amphoterics.

Due to its foam depressing properties, PPG-26 Oleate should not be used in foam or lather-type products. It is typically used at 5-15% concentrations and offers formulation stability under various acidic and alkaline conditions.
