Biophos 35 is made from whole yeast cells (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) by separating the cellular contents from the cell walls and hydrolyzing them down to a low molecular weight collection of protein, carbohydrates, glycoproteins, phospho-glycoproteins (from its nucleus) and phospho-carbohydrates. As whole cells are used, B vitamins are present and their hydrolyzates are enriched with magnesium and potassium glycoproteins.
