Apricot Kernel Amino Acids is an active fruit amino acid complex derived from the complete hydrolization of the protein found in the apricot (Prunus Armeniaca) kernel. It is an all-natural moisturizer with an exotic appeal. It is known under the trade name Hydroapricot AA.
Apricot Kernel Amino Acids is very hygroscopic and substantive to hair and skin and can penetrate the hair cuticle. Incorporated in skin care applications, natural complex acts as an NMF, increasing skin moisture levels and improving water retention capacity.
In hair care products, Apricot Kernel Amino Acids moisturize and soften the hair inside out. This plant-based ingredient is compatible with surfactants and is alcohol tolerant.
