Obtained by biotechnology from corn seeds, Ribose is a natural pentose sugar, a molecule occurring in all living cells. The fundamental building block of the ATP molecule, D-Ribose, induces the production of new energy units (ATP) to restore the energetic pool and increases skin cell respiration to recover an optimal cellular metabolism.

It is also a building block of RNA molecules involved in protein synthesis, promoting DNA transcription for numerous proteins, including collagen and elastin. This simple carbohydrate is known as a "Sugar of Life" - an ideal ingredient that makes the skin younger, energized, and radiant.
