PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether is a propoxylated methyl glucose ether, a pale, yellow syrup (moderate-viscosity liquid) with a mild odor. It is an effective emollient, fragrance fixative, and humectant for hair and skin care products.

Derived from corn, PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether is a multifunctional ingredient used in lotions, creams, and cleansing formulations. It increases foam wetness, provides excellent shine and gloss to hair, increases compatibility, and reduces the sting of hydroalcoholic products.

Thanks to its de-tackifing and solubilizing properties, PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether is an easy-to-use liquid readily formulated into a wide range of products with a smooth, silky feel. It helps hair care products like conditioners, styling gels, and mousses bring a shine and gloss that will get plenty of notice. It treats hair as nicely as skin, increasing foam wetness for a luxurious feel.

It adds emollient properties to aqueous systems. PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether can be formulated with other humectant agents, such as glycerin. It often demonstrates synergistic performance in these products.
