Solaveil™ CT-100 is a sunscreen complex, a highly stable dispersion (no sedimentation) of hydrophobically modified titanium dioxide particles in C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, with a high SPF efficacy, photostablility, and true transparency on the skin. It is an off-white viscous liquid/gel.
The thixotropic dispersion complex mixes easily with other ingredients, exhibiting excellent compatibility with different ingredients and emulsion systems. As a carrier oil, it is an excellent solvent for organic UV filters.
Solaveil™ CT-100 contains a new generation of TiO2 for UV protection. When incorporated into a cosmetic emulsion, it provides skin transparency equivalent to that offered by organic sunscreens.
The key to total transparency is tightly controlled particle size distribution that eliminates whitening but maintains SPF efficacy. This unique combination of effectiveness and aesthetics makes Solaveil™ CT-100 appropriate for sun care and daily wear formulations.Ingredients
