Caprylic/Capric/Lauric Triglyceride is a blend of interesterified triglycerides medium-chain fatty acid from coconut oil that is refined and deodorized for use in personal care products. It is a clear, light yellow liquid without odor, soluble in many cosmetics solvents, and miscible with mineral and natural oils.

Caprylic/Capric/Lauric Triglyceride is an exceptional emollient with a better sensory profile than coconut oil. It is an occlusive skin conditioning agent that can act as a solubilizer for many pigments and other cosmetic ingredients and a viscosity modifier.

Incorporated in lipsticks and other decorative cosmetics, Caprylic/Capric/Lauric Triglyceride provides body and emollience and enhances spreading. It is a safe, non-irritating, and non-sensitizing ingredient for skin and eye care applications, with a 0.5—5.0% usage level.
