Detoxiquin is a peptide-based complex ingredient that unites Snow mushroom extract with an iron-containing synthetic peptide to protect DNA from reactive radicals, reduce lipid peroxidation, and decrease protein degeneration. It neutralizes radical oxygen species (ROS) which causes intracellular accumulation of oxidative damage maintaining the physiological levels of autophagy and proteasome activity, preventing premature aging, and promoting cell regeneration.

Rich in heteropolysaccharides, Snow mushroom (Tremella Fuciformis) is a great source of various sugars including rear types such as mannoses and xyloses, as well as glucuronic acid with hydrating, antioxidant, and nourishing properties. In addition, it promotes the production of the Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) enzyme, an essential enzyme responsible for protection against free radicals.

Hexapeptide Fe-III is a synthetic peptide that forms a complex with Fe3+ ions and mimics natural peroxidase enzymes which are founded in small quantities in our skin. The enzymatic detoxifying activity of hexapeptide Fe-III balances the low levels of peroxidases, breaking peroxyl radicals down and avoiding cell damage and premature aging.
