Serilesine® is a peptide-based ingredient with a double anti-aging action on a cellular level. It contains a peptide called Hexapeptide-10, derived from a Laminin part responsible for adhesion. The amino acid sequence of Hexapeptide-10 is Ser-Asp-Gly-Pro-Arg-Pro.

Thanks to its unique sequence, Hexapeptide-10 helps restore the skin's structure by promoting the production of important proteins such as laminin-5 and α6-integrin. These proteins are essential for maintaining the firmness and elasticity of the skin, and their production decreases over time with aging.

Clinical studies have shown that the use of Serilesine in skin care formulations can lead to a significant increase in the synthesis of laminin-5, α6-integrin, and hemidesmosomes. This results in a stronger dermo-epidermal junction and an overall improvement in skin firmness, smoothness, and density.

Serilesine is water-soluble and can be easily incorporated into various skin care formulations such as creams, gels, and serums. The recommended dosage of Serilesine is 1-10%, and it can be used by individuals of all skin types.

The inclusion of Hexapeptide-10 in skin care products makes them an effective weapon in the fight against the signs of aging and other skin issues.
