Camellia Sinensis Catechins is a polyphenol fraction of Green Tea extract that contains up to 90% catechins. This concentrated vegetable active ingredient, derived from tea, exhibits numerous beneficial effects on the skin.

Thanks to its powerful antioxidant activity, Camellia Sinensis Catechins protect dermal cells from free radicals and oxidative damage while leaving a noticeable soothing effect. It inhibits the collagenase enzyme, enhancing collagen quantities and improving skin firmness.

Furthermore, Camellia Sinensis Catechins has bactericide properties that are useful against dermal infections and in anti-acne applications. Due to its decongestant or draining effect, it is used in eye care applications to fight against undereye bags.

In addition, Camellia Sinensis Catechins decrease glucides ( various carbohydrates) assimilation into lipids, an excellent effect for slimming applications. Combined with caffeine, it is also used in anti-cellulite products.
