Citrus Grandis Fruit Extract is an extract obtained from the seeds and pulp of Pomelo. It is a viscous lemon-yellow liquid with an acidic 2.0 - 3.5 pH.

The pomelo fruit extract is a potent and effective broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide compound (range: 1000 ppm to 10000 ppm). Citrus Grandis Fruit Extract is used as a natural preservative for the self-preservation of high-end cosmetic products in concentrations up to 0.5%.

Citrus Grandis Fruit Extract is compatible with the most of ingredients normally used in cosmetics, except for Carbomer, surfactants, and anionic emulsifiers. It is a safe ingredient if used in cosmetic concentrations. Oral acute toxicity is more than 5 g/kg, non-irritant for skin, eye irritant from 1%, and non-sensitizing.
