Walnut (Juglans Regia) fruit shell is a byproduct of the food industry and the perfect raw material for producing cosmetic ingredients. The bark, leaves, and shell of the walnut contain astringent and detergent properties and are used to treat problem skin. Juglans Regia-derived preparations have also been used to treat eczema and herpes and to heal indolent ulcers.
