Brookswax D

Brookswax D is composed of fully saturated fatty alcohols blended with ethoxylated fatty alcohol to produce a balanced o/w emulsifier with an appropriate HLB of 9. This ingredient will produce elegant, stable o/w emulsions over wide pH ranges.

This versatility allows it to function well in antiperspirants, hair straighteners, depilatory creams, and cold waves. It can also be used to make quick-breaking foam or mousse-type products. Brookswax D is an excellent primary emulsifier for creams and lotions.

Brookswax D is a balanced emulsifier supplied in the form of easy-to-handle flakes. It is white, nearly odorless, and consists of optimized concentrations of cetearyl alcohol for versatile emulsifying properties. Over the past 30 years, these types of emulsifying waxes have been used extensively in both the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. These emulsion concentrates are substantive to the hair and have an effective emulsifying ability at low concentrations.
