Luvigel ® EM is a liquid thickener complex for cosmetic formulations. It is a pre-neutralized crosslinked sodium acrylates copolymer that does not require pre-swelling and is used in oil-in-water emulsions for fast viscosity build-up.
Luvigel EM is a white milky emulsion with a weak characteristic odor. It is a sodium acrylates copolymer in caprylic/capric triglyceride and water.
Luvigel EM is used as a thickener in all kinds of cosmetic emulsions. Depending on the emulsion's required viscosity, its concentration in the formula varies from 0.5 to 3.5 %.
